Chef Mashy is our guitar-playing potato in a chef’s hat and sunglasses. He plays guitar badly, loudly, and mostly while the potatoes are boiling. As the self-appointed Head Potato Masher, he takes mashing seriously but never takes himself too seriously. His whole plan is simple: make sure you leave well-fed and in a better mood than you arrived. Mash More, Happy More.

  • The Origin Story

    Mashy started the Mash More Potato Lab because he believed something simple could be magical. He noticed that when people eat something warm and comforting, their faces relax, their shoulders drop, and they are a little kinder to whoever is sitting opposite.

  • The Experiment

    So he began experimenting: different potatoes, different textures, different gravies, different toppings — mashing again and again until a bowl felt less like lunch and more like a cozy hug.
